Planner · players, minutes, leaning
Tell the planner who is playing and for how long.
The planner ranks the five games for one evening. It checks three things in order: whether your group fills a side, which mode fits the time, and whether the game leans towards aim or towards plans.
Rules
How the ranking works
Seats
A group that fills a side exactly gets full marks: five for Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege and SMITE 2, six for Marvel Rivals, three or two for Apex Legends. Six also fills Overwatch's 6v6 Open Queue and Siege's Dual Front, and three fills a SMITE 2 Joust side. Smaller groups queue with strangers, which loses a point. Larger groups split into two parties.
Time
The planner takes the main mode if it fits the window, otherwise the shorter mode. Overwatch, Marvel Rivals and Apex Legends fit half an hour. Siege's Quick Match fits only if it runs short, and SMITE 2's Arena takes about ten minutes. Every game fits an hour; SMITE 2's Conquest takes most of it.
Leaning
Aim duels favour games with 4 or 5 points on aim and control: Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege. Plans and roles favour 4 or 5 points on talking load, which all five reach, so ties go to the game that leans furthest your way. With no preference, short evenings favour the most flexible game and two-hour evenings the deepest one.
